Friend in Need
A friend of mine recently became unable to keep her dog, due to pressuring circumstances. She isn't able to surrender him to the humane society because they are full too. So I'm turning to you, some of my LJ buddies, to see if you or any one you know would like a dog.
His name is Riley, he's two years old. He's a larger dog, I'd guess he might weigh somewhere around 70 lbs, but I'm really not sure. He is a mutt, but it is obvious that he has some pit bull in him. He is house trained and crate trained, however he needs someone who is able to handle larger dogs, since he doesn't seem to realize how big he is, and some place he could go outside and play with other dogs. He does fine around other dogs, he has played with my dog Nohmi a lot and we never have trouble. He really needs someone who can spend time with him, and take him out to play.
He's a beautiful dog, and I've included some pictures of him.
If you know any friends, let them know. I'm willing to drive a couple hours from around the Ocala area to give this guy a good home, he really deserves it.
