Started work on a piece all of my own design. I'm still not happy with it and plan to make a few more before I start to offer them out. I need to get the pattern right. Any tips or tricks would be welcome. ;)
What is it? A Tablet half-glove.
A what? Basically it's a short glove with only the pinkie finger attached. The rest of the glove is open. Now I don't have access to the special no-smudge material that some drawing gloves are made of, but the idea is to reduce some of the wear and tear on the tablet surface by creating a barrier between the surface and the skin of the hand. This reduces the oils, acid, and wear on the tablet surface in general, and keeps it clean. :)
I saw such gloves made of a "no smear" material, much like, I think, what athletes wear in their work out suits. I figured I might try my hand at it.

deviantART Also picked up a pattern from these little embellishments for the hands and feet. Cute little buggers. No pictures yet. Since it's not my pattern I can't rightfully sell the items. However I'm taking what I've learned from making them and trying something different with them. :)
