Student Teacher Application

Hello!

My adviser is a jerk. He is never there. I was at work and I even left later than usual today. My adviser showed not five minutes after I left. So, the Librarian was really nice and called my cell phone. She told him what happened and that I was on my way back. In a hurry, I grabbed just the sheet that he needs to sign and I took off because he was leaving again. I checked my email just before the Librarian called, and the professor I had given a recommendation form to, lost it. So I was at the school of ed and he took one look at the paper and said no. "I don't make a habit of signing random papers." He knows that I have completed the requirements, he has a file on me. Now the file he has is made up entirely of papers and schedules I gave him. But he still refuses to sign it until he sees the file application.

So how am I to solve this problem? (Because the application is due Wednesday.) I have to get my ass out of bed at 8:30 in the morning so he can see the whole application and then finally signing the damn thing. I was ready to go postal. Or break out the ruler, whatever but I am not happy.

They gave us (next semester's student teachers) this whole speech about how only the best and the brightest get to student teach. That there are always students who fail the application process and are denied until whatever it is that messed things up gets sorted out. Either that or you have to wait another semester. (Which means that you have to pay all the money for another semester.) So I am a little stressed about this. I hate this. Any other discipline, you complete all the requirements and you get what you are supposed to. You don't have to apply for it. I think that there should be some sort of dispensation for students who have gotten A's in every education class. (Alright I got one B, but maybe they should base it on education GPA. If you have an Education GPA of 3.5 or better then you're off the hook.)
