Good things!

Happy 40th to Sesame Street, I spent a good deal of yesterday watching clips of the good old days on Youtube, and wandering aimlessly across the Muppet Wiki. Who knew that Snuffy looked downright scary in his first appearances? Thankfully until now, not me. Barkley was always my favorite, I'm even more jealous of how gorgeous that costume looks as time goes by.

Also have been squee-ing over Ed, Edd, n' Eddy's Big Picture Show. What an amazing way to potentially (hopefully NOT) cap off Cartoon Network's longest running original show. I adore that entire show, and aside from what seemed to be a pretty big shift in Nazz's personality, adored the movie too. They ran a marathon of the show most of the past weekend, and I got to catch up on the handful of later episodes that I'd missed. Something about that cartoon just makes me giddy whenever I watch it. Way too cute, and I hope it doesn't end there.

Speaking of happy-place things, took a few hours of work off today to go frisbee golfing with the guys. Matt goes all the time, but I usually miss out since I'm working. Honestly, it was great. Maybe the guys don't think much of hanging out with each other, but I don't see enough of them. The fallout after Matt and I got together still rings curiously strong for me, even a year later. I guess that with some people, I'm still looking for some sort of reaffirmation that yes, I still have what I did before with them. Maybe I'm just thinking crazy, but it is what it is. I got to poke TJ, get a bruise from Nick, tussle with Jason, make Gabe laugh, and drive home at the end of the day with the man I love. Glee.

Need to go read back through some of my old stories and snippets, and relish in feeling all mushy.
