Last Place On Earth
Finally got a hold of the DVD of "Last Place On Earth" ( Trina made me a video copy years ago but who has a vcr any more?) and yes i got because of Sylv but it's a really good and exciting mini series that British TV just dosen't do now.
No real heroes in this fact based story and it dosen't white wash all the blunders that Scott made and which finally doomed him. Amundsen dosen't come off any better, single-minded and a bit underhanded in his race to the south pole.
Worth getting a copy...because it has Sylv!
I saw him in this before his was the Doctor and thought he'd make a good Doctor.
