A lot has happened this past week: Ray Charles and Ronald Reagan both died, Midland was hit by a tornadoe, plenty of bad things - but good things are also taking place: The Cartunes are done recording their new CD and the Pistons are planning on stealing the NBA championship away from the L.A. Lakers (hence the title of this entry, Disturbance in Hollywood). The title is also the name of one of our new songs... it may or may not get on the CD. We aren't sure yet.
Last week, I gave the boys two CD's full of all our new songs. The three of us are very pleased with how the recording went. We don't have an official title yet, but whatever it is, it won't matter, because the songs are very nicely recorded.
We agreed that it would be wise to all listen to the songs individually and then decide which ones will be best for the new CD. Which ones we like, dislike, and which ones just go well together. They've got a lot of songs to shuffle through, so it may be another week or so. I apologize to anyone really looking forward to this new one, but the boys and myself have a lot to get through. Also, with the tornadoe hitting downtown, it may be awhile before I get to see them again. I talked to my sister today and she said that the downtown area is really messed up. Anyways, I thought I'd just update everyone and let you know where we're at. Good luck to all...
