The world is tiny
I went to this bbq on Saturday see.
At my mate’s girlfriends house.
Which I’d never been to before.
At 63 Marle Hill Road, in Cheltenham.
Which is about 100 miles from where I work and live.
And I happened to look in the kitchen at a note on the board.
A note on the board containing forwarding addresses.
And one of them said Scott Waugaman.
And Louise, our head of Studio, had mentioned at the Friday meeting that a Scott Waugaman was starting on Monday, but that she didn’t know how to pronounce his name.
So his name was said several times by several people.
Until it became suitably emblazoned on my brain.
And I’ve never seen the surname Waugaman before, so I thought “what’re the chances”.
So I thought I’d ask.
And, y’know what, the world is a fucking tiny place.
