Today is my last day as a PSRC-RI employee.

Here are what i shall be missing about my work:

• The Routine

1. My daily trip to the office. MRT from Q.Ave to Shaw. Then lakad to San Miguel Ave. Tantyado ko na ito, 40mins total. from the apartment to 10th floor ng OMM.
2. Pag nagugutom ako sa umaga, bibili muna akong Waffle or Yumpanada sa MRT Shaw. and eat it while walking. Minsan Kariman or Hot Loops sa Ministop sa baba ng office. kain habang naghihintay ng elevator.
3. Pagbukas ng PC, open ng office mail, then sign-in sa YM, then check Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Livejournal, and Psypets.
4. Pagbili ng food kay manang by 1130. Initin ang food sa pantry. then makisiksik sa round table.
5. Pagpila sa paghugas ng pinggan. Minsan iwan muna ang pinggan sa pantry, then toothbrush muna sa CR.
   
6. Madaan-daanan ng mga female officemates na sabay-sabay kung magtooth brush. girl bonding ito.
7. Idlip ng konti around 3pm. hehe. or pag nakita kong nagising na si Nick, ako naman. hehe.
   
8. Paggising, timpla ng kape. pag may manang na, meryenda muna. hehe.
9. Pag walang trip sa food ni manang, baba at sugod sa 7/11, dun sa mas malayong 7/11. hehe.
10. My nightly trip from the office. reverse lang, lakad to shaw, then MRT to Q.Ave. Minsan pag super-OT, bus or taxi na. Madalas kasabay si Nick. maiidlip pa sya sa bus. hehe.
11. Minsan sabay-sabay kaming team uuwi, sakay ng kotse ni Lawrence at/o ni Ms Nizza. sa Kamias  ako bababa. then bus. baba sa Mother Ignacia, tatawid sa tapat nung sign board na Walang Tawiran Nakamamatay. hehe.

• The work

1. Research proposal-making.
2. Briefing, aka charade
   
3. FW and DP Monitoring
   
4. Codeplan making. <-- favorite :)
5. Summarizing data, aka deleting rows. wafkth.
   
6. Report preparation/Charting/PR, aka lamay
7. Report revision. for life.

• The people

1. Si Cel, ang aming dating receptionist/operator na napaka-hyper. haha. bibong bata. hindi humuhupa ang energy kahit 530 na. hehe.
2. Si Mang Greg, ang SG. Minsan sya na rin ang operator, taga-bukas/sara ng pinto, taga-patay ng aircon, etc. madalas silang magbugbugan ni Cel, lalo na pag walang tao sa lobby. hehe.
3. Si Ate Loids, at ang kanyang minion angels. hehe. making life easy and funny for us. haha.
4. And there's Ate Gina2 (may Gina1 din kasi). Hulog ng langit. totoo. whatever you need, she got it. hehe.
5. At si Ate Ellen. na napaka-kulit. lord. peyborit niyang pagtawanan ang mata ko. pauso ni Jade. tsk.
6. At syempre ang aking mega-mates. haha. too many to mention. hahaks. i surely enjoyed our lunch and meryenda laugh outs, charades, pop culture discussion/quizzes, email threads, pop sessions, etc. a bunch of really awesome people.
   
7. And the Smart aka Jhac Team. hehe. You comment, we revise. You comment again, we revise again... and again! haha...
8. Si Jade, every once in a while, magpa-pop yan. as in pop talaga. kasi mga out of the blue hirits. from some random trivia, to her crush for the moment, or minsan, even to some serious love talk. haha.
9. Si Ms Nizza. Epitome of grace under pressure. OCness personified. Stat galore. Bow.
10. Si Lawrence, at ang kanyang kumikitang kabuhayan! hehe.
11. Si Aimee, and her periodic Rai-may-pwede-ba-akong-gawin pop. hehe. I say enjoy these idle moments while they last. hehe.
12. Si Jas, ang aking rival to being the most punctual employee. hehe. peace. :)
13. At syempre si Nick. haha. early bird. growing boy. ultra pinoy pop. partner in crime. hehe. my team buddy, Category buddy, meryenda buddy, MRT buddy. haha.

Yesterday i spent the whole day sorting my stuff, giving away things, and occasionally staring blankly on my monitor -- mind traveling back to certain instances in the past 10 months.

I saw a bottle of Ventolin stashed inside a headphone case. I used the drug when i had asthma pero hindi ako pwede mag-absent. i remember sharing it with Adrianne who was also sick then. the headset was given to me by Nick during the Mega A Christmas Party. I still have the card and a piece of the wrapping paper he used for the gift. i also have all the tags of all the gifts i received from my officemates last Christmas. I also stumbled on several multi-colored post-it notes - they're thank you notes from people who passed by my desk and took a candy or two from my jar. i kept all of them. yeah, i'm sentimental like that.
