love your ingredients.

i watched that movie last year too and it was pretty interesting. i didn't get it at first (it took a few minutes to soak in) and i didn't understand some stuff (like the stereotype about parking cars on the lawn or something) but in a lot of ways, i had a lot of rants about it too. interesting movie - i should see it again.

I agree, it was an excellent movie...Yury and I just rented the DVD from Netflix last week. I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

I liked this movie so much I asked for and got it for Christmas just so I could share it with everyone I know. I think it should be required viewing for anyone living in America. Like you said, although we like to think we are pretty open-minded and liberal, we all harbor stereo-typed thought patterns regardless of how fair-minded we believe ourselves to be.
I know this film made me look long and hard at my own prejudices and quite frankly, I was ashamed--knowing that I am guilty of just that.

YES!
That's exactly how I've been feeling since yesterday. I haven't been able to stop thinking about the movie all day. It really did make me take a long hard look at myself and realize just how prejudiced and stereotype-oriented I am even, though I think I'm so liberal and open minded.
I think it's not only a great movie but it's an IMPORTANT one!
