Smallville: Ok, so I get the whole part where Lana's trying to protect Clark, but doesn't she think he should know who his enemies are? Also, after seeing some of what he can do, that he might be a wee bit capable of protecting himself? Plus, with her in the Luthor camp, she is a hostage against him.
(And that dress would have been a lot better looking without that stupid bow around the waist.)
Supernatural: I don't know what everyone's getting all het up about, it seemed to me and the fam that Dean was feeling guilty over using Molly and lying to her instead of putting her to rest (kind of a Big Deal with him, being his life's work and all), and also perhaps a bit of discomfort in interacting with a spirit in an abnormal (for them) way. (Not to mention the fact that Dean's antisocial to begin with.) And the whole spiel about 'spirit's like that should be killed' (or whatever he said exactly) was clearly about vengeful spirits specifically. Neither Sam nor Dean nor Molly herself ever identified her in any way with Greely or any other vengeful spirits. In fact, they they went out of their way to show that she hadn't moved on out of shock (of the accident) and worry and love (for her husband).
Also, it's just stupid to say Kripke and co. stole the idea of a ghost not knowing they're dead from M. Knight whatshisname, when the idea has been around about as long as ghost stories have. *rolls eyes*
I thought it was a kickass episode, it has interconnecting layers that really peel back upon themselves when you realize the truth. And it was very interesting to get to view the boys through the POV of someone "normal".
