(no subject)
Friday: picked up boxes of DVD's, TV, and some furniture from Gene's parent's. Moved furniture into the house, also the furniture that was out in the garage waiting for the floors to be cured, dodging raindrops the whole time. Cooked dinner, played Rock Band and Buzz.
Saturday: Bonnie and Jacky stayed over, went to Shumi for lunch, and the mall afterwards, dodging a torrential downpour that had played itself out by the time we left. Gene napped while we were gone. Had dinner, watched 5th Element, they went home. Earache made me cranky and I wound up sleeping on the couch.
Sunday: lounged a bit in the morning, ear started feeling a bit better. Went over to Gene's parents and picked up his desk so that he can work in his office instead of in the bedroom. More rain ... Dana came over to help move stuff into our house. Gene didn't take stuff out of the file drawers, making them very heavy, and the casters didn't roll so much as slide, and it compressed the wood under them a bit, so now there's some squiggles in the hardwood floor in the office *grumble*
Monday: back at work, not in the mood to deal with people.
