I really like the insight of that last line-it's really powerful. That's a very keen understanding of the father-daughter dynamic in this relationship.

Good.

I mean, I really enjoyed this. The Haitian part made my heart ache for Elle moreso than the other parts, is that weird? The last line sums up Bob and Elle's relationship perfectly to me. All she ever wanted to do was make him proud of her.
