I got my braces taken off on Monday. I am really happy with the results. I cant stop smiling - my co-workers, skyeler & sarissa can attest to that. I will put up pics later.

I was asked by the regional recruiter to fill in for her at a high school function because she has a meeting with the BIG BOSS today. I must say that I was very excited about that. So today I am going to a high school today to talk to students about interview etiquette. I know its nothing super big or anything, but its something different.
Although I do love my current position, I have to say that I am thinking about going more towards the support side of the business and not so much the sales portion. Looking at my APR (annual performance review) from my Store Manager and just when I feel the greatest satisfaction is when I can teach and share my experiences with other people and not be their direct supervisor. My least favorite part of my job is when I have to continue coaching with disciplinary action, up to and including separation. Dont get me wrong - I'll do it, but I wouldnt be surprised if I walked to my car after work and my tires were slashed. I'm kinda strict and I show no sympathy when I am at work because my job is to make sure they do their job correctly. Its either them or me...and I cannot afford to lose my job over some bullshit.

Skyeler and I have narrowed our apartment search to 3 apartment home communities. All of them are local and have all the amenities we have grown accustomed to. Its a really great time to move, the economy is so bad right now. The IE was one of the most greatly affected areas of the housing/economy crisis. Prices have seemed to stabilize and even decrease. We're looking at 2BR, 1BA places and have found a couple withing our price range. Now its all about saving money and pulling this shit all together at the last minute because we hella thought we had until mid to late July...no nigga, we have until mid-June. But we're all shooting for the end of May. ACK!
