Back to the Basics

I'm back in Colorado with nothing but me, my dog, some food and shelter, and my laptop. Oh and one pair of clothes. That's plenty enough for me! My luggage was lost, but I had it relocated and it will be here tomorrow. I was chatting with my friend Kiera, and she explained her daily routine to me. I thought about that, and realized I didn't have one. I know that's not a big problem in general, but I think I should develop one if I plan on getting anything done other than staring at break.com and videojug.com for 6 hours like last night. I've been recently getting more and more depressed; however, this feeling of depression only comes when I'm alone at night. I don't like being depressed, and despite people telling me that there's nothing I can do about it, I do not believe them. I believe there is something that can be done about everything; sure, it might not eliminate the problem, but it WILL help. It's better than nothing in my opinion.

Hmmm, first, how about that to-do list?

THINGS TO GET DONE (during the summer):
-Get Job
-Mow the lawn
-level up strength and dexterity...maybe charisma too
-Stop searching so hard for love
-Re initiate lucid meaningful dreams <----- I had one last night :D
-Draw. A lot.
-Tell my mom about lots of cool secret awesome hyper active stuff
-open my eyes to other careers
-Get happier

Ok ok that's all fine and dandy. but it's routine time!

THINGS TO GET DONE DURING ONE DAY
-Get out of bed within 15 min of waking up
-Let Dog out
-Eat yummy things
-Brush my teeth
-Do physical things (walk dog, mow lawn, throw eggs, etc)
-Triple SSS
-Creative time! (1 minute animation/ create 2 static objects or 1 animatable objects/ Draw a page of comic/ Draw one FINISHED panel)
-Research time! (Discover the answers to all those questions in my head!)
-Nap Time?
-Free time!
-Eat more yummy things
-brush teeth
-sleep at reasonable time

I'll let you know how well this routine idea turns out, lol.

I've been relying on others too much lately. I'm not saying that I'm ungrateful for their support. It's just that I've always been a pretty independent person. If there is something that needs doing, I'm usually the guy who gets it done on the spot, Job done.

I'm spending the rest of this vacation to remember who I was, who I am, and who I will become. It's time to be assertive for once, no?

Some days I want my afro back, some days I like my hair short. Maybe I should just make a wig.

haha just kidding.

Oh yeah! One of Karissa's friends once told me that drinking two glasses of water at the start of a day (that's 16 oz folks!) really improves the amount of energy and focus one can have. I think I'll toss that in my routine.

Time to make art, smile, and live life like life should be lived. Ciao!
