anime, cons, and other stuff
well figured i'd post a bit because of this past weekend.
well a lil while ago i was informed that there was an anime con in the area, Naka-con, only in it's 3rd year (1st official to some, since the past 2 were on the KU campus). i managed to attend friday night and most of saturday. was small but had some good parts, got to watch a panel hosted by steve blum and watch a showing of beck(dubed version) hosted by greg ayres. my only wish was that they had 1 or 2 rooms srtictly for videos but thats just me.
on a simalar note i thinki have been ruined for cosplay due to my friends and thoes members of the crack crew that i had the chance to meet at Otakon last year. this is not a bad comment just saying that you all have set my standards a bit high, congrats to you all for that. i just hope that i can get my skills up there.
in other anime related news, ber and i have been trying to blast through Bleach so we can catch up to current episodes. so far we have only about 23 eps left(24 once 118 is out). im not sure why it took me so long to see this show but glad i finally have. now to download the rest of the manga for it.
also i put this out to anyone who might be interested, i ordered a case of the series 3 bleach figures and have a duplicate Byakuya (Hersch already claimed the extra Renji), i only ask $5 and i will bring it with me when i come out there this month.
aside from that it's been school and work, not much new. cant wait to see everyone(al least thoes that i can) while im home, catch ya later
