Seeing as how I can't goto sleep, I decided to write in this.
Home has been fun, but busy. Spent time with Nat friday night. On Saturday, we went to the most drunken, funny, and entertaining ASOB show I'd seen in a really long time. Hearing them play with two trombones made the sound a lot "fuller". Then more time with Nat. Then time with Louis and Nat, for I make time for friends. We watched Raiders, random game shows, and the terrible ending to 'The One'.
Now I'm going to go off on a tangent right about now. If you don't like a type of music, fine. Say what you will abuot anything you want, and I won't jump on your case. Start saying stuff about how easy something is, meanwhile, you yourself can't do it is pretty fucking stupid. I am clearly referring to Nick "I'm going to stop hanging out with my friends so I can fuck my guitar every night" Amodio. For the most part, I've grown out of 'Emo' music. I've found that the majority of the songs are empty and actually have no meaning behind them but I don't go around and call it easy. Nick's seems to think this for example. I can play many songs by The Reunion Show on my moog. Since I can play these parts with little problem, The Reunion Show has very basic music and its easy. Okay... but the fact is I didn't write this song. Writing the song is about 95% of how difficult music is. Could I sit down and write parts like TRS, not yet but I'd like to think that one day I could. The day where I can write complete songs that get my signed to a major record company and I tour the country and get paid to play music, then I can call their music easy. It's like going around saying 'Mary Had a Little Lamb' is easy. Well the fact is you didn't write this song that is probably like 70 years old (or older) that is still sung by hundred of thousands of kids practically everyday. That's what I think anyway...
