I've got all my votes tallied for the SunnyD Awards! And depending on any last minute votes, I've only got 3 ties. Although, we've got some very close wins, so depending on how many last minute votes I ge, there may be more ties ( Read more... )

I've been noticing the lack of a Giles/ASH icontest community and am tempted to create one. Anyone think it's a worthwhile idea?

I do, although I fully admit I'm bad about submitting anything after I join, but I'd try.

Yay, I was hoping you'd say that. Unless I was secretly hoping you'd try to talk me out of it... I'm being indecisive. But I think ASH deserves his own icon community.

It's easy. =)

1) Go to your Control Panel on DH
2) Go to Domains > Manage Domains (left menu)
3) At the bottom click [Add New Domain / Sub-Domain]
4) In the first box "Domain to Host:" put subdomainname.hairyeyeballs.com (or subdomainname.dragonydreams.com - which ever tickles your fancy)
5) Leave the ticky boxes alone. I know it's tempting to play with them, but really, they are fine how they are.
6) Click "Fully Host This Domain Now!" (I've never understood why they yell at you to do this ...)

I was talking Sunday, or maybe next week. I won't have anything ready to show for a while yet. I won't even get around to setting up the subdomain until tomorrow at the rate my scattered brain is going. I'm just getting around to downloading my featured character's pictures right now. Still got to fix them up and transfer info.

I'm impressed with you getting all caught up at SunnyD. Plus, I do think that a Giles Icontest community might well be a worthy notion!
