I was hoping someone would notice that. I didn't think he'd want to get back together with Drusilla at this point, but I did want him to want to tell her about his soul, in person.

Of course I noticed it! And it was a lovely touch that both provided a plausible reason for him to be in South America and added emotional resonance to the story! Brava!
