I just noticed that on one of the HBO channels (HBO2) is doing a George Carlin marathon over two days:

Thank you for posting this! I'd thought earlier to check HBO and then forgot. I'm too late to record the first one, but I've got the rest of them set up. I never got to see him live. He was here in Fargo 4-5 years ago and I couldn't go for whatever reason, a class that night or something.

You're welcome. I didn't see that it was going on until after 8 myself. So I'm watching the first one and will be recording the rest.

I was lucky enough to see him perform in Las Vegas in 2004 (at Writercon). He was brilliant on stage.

I heard that Saturday Night Live is going to be doing a tribute to him too.
