Damnit. ^_^

I was putting some streaks in my hair, to soften the regrowth, and I accidentally made patches on bits that weren't supposed to be bleached. So my mum put more bleach on those bits for me and I've ended up with almost the entire top section bleached, with proper streaks underneath, and the fringe and very front bits still dark. Sigh. I wanted it mostly still dark. Now I have a pineapple head.
Mmmm, pineapple.
Oh well, I'll put red or something over it in a day or two, after the bleach has settled down. Just annoying, is all.
Oh fuck it. Punk rock pineapple.

Ghostbusters is still freaking awesome (like my abrupt subject change?). I don't think I could help singing along to the theme song (and that Jackie Gleeson song in the second one) even if I wanted to. Who you gonna call? ::busts a move::

Um.

^_^

Oh yeah, and also, I found, today, this pair of fucking excellent flares I bought in high school and hadn't worn in years. They are soooo seventies curtain material, or couch cover or something... flowers in big, bold, simplified style, orange, yellow, white, blue and green on a kind of light brown background. They're so daggy it's fantastic. My sister calls them my "The Good Life" flares. I'm assuming Aussies and English folks will know that show, but for everyone else who may not, it was this ultra daggy 70s sitcom thing about this couple who are all into self-sufficiency and gardening and stuff. Very typical 70s... just without the drugs and stuff. I'm wearing 'em now. Very flower power.
And speaking of gardening, all these zuchs and squach I planted a couple of weeks ago have come up and are looking really healthy. I haven't had so much luck (or put in very much effort) with seeds in the last couple of years, and each time they all get eaten or something, I am less motivated to plant more. But I'm feeling into it again, I hope these ones do well. All the sages are flowering, which is a bad thing, although very pretty, because if you let them finish flowering they go to seed and die off. They are an annual or biannual or something, I guess, but if you are vigilant and pick the flowerheads off they last longer. I keep picking them off but this rain seems to really be encouraging them. And yesterday when I started picking them off this bee came and it was almost like it was looking at me and going "what the hell are you doing?! I need these!" so I felt really bad and stopped. I'll just sneak back when there are no bees there, hehe. ::devious::
Also I planted a beautiful lilium (bulb) but it is a bit old so I have no idea whether it will come up or not.
A couple of friends have offered to help me dig a pond, which would be fantastic and I may well see if they are free to help me in the next week or so. This rain is too great not to take advantage of. We get a few frogs, too, so think how awesome it would be.
Lord of the Rings is on tv tomorrow. I have never seen the first movie (or read the first book, haha) so that will be cool. I've seen and read the second and third ones, so seeing the first will probably be good, lol. Silly Jade. :-P
Ahhhhh ::happy sigh::
I'm in quite a good mood tonight! Happy, happy... ^_^
BTW - mmmm, brownies (with currants in them so they taste kind of like Old Jamaica chocolate).... yummm...
