I just got an account with http://www.cyclespage.com/ to keep track of my menstrual cycle online. I've always kept a record, anyway, but this seemed nifty...
Haha, my mum instilled in me the habit of always marking it down when I was first bleeding. It was the beginning of my relationship with a pocket diary. My cycle is a bit weird, though, it tends to be a different number of days all the time. I think most common is 21 days, but sometimes it's 22, 23, 26, 30... and about a year or two ago I kept having really extended cycles and missing periods. Which was not fun, it made me all frazzled. I hate having such a short cycle as I normally do, though. It tends to mean I haev only two weeks not bleeding. Bleurgh.
oh god. 2 weeks! 2 weeks after my period is when I feel like the world is a good place. It is 3 weeks after that I start gritting my teeth and yelling at random passers by if they look at me weird. I HATE PEOPLE! (guess which week it is?)
LOL I'm only a week from that myself, I'd say. Beware people, beware. Last night I actually had ovulation pains. Not a happy camper. If I wasn't so mistrustful of the pill it would be a damned tempting thing, to get a nice 28 day cycle.
I always get ovulation pains. Sometimes to the point of 3 naprogesics/panadols not helping and just sitting in one place, meditating. The really strong pain likes to last 2 hrs. Then it gets bearable.
I've always been jealous of those people who feel nothing. :-/ Mine always came with a big warning label.
Guh. Do you use the hot-water-bottle trick? It works so well for period pain, it stnds to reason that it should help with ovulation pain, too... Also, do you use Nurofen? You're not supposed to use it if you have severe asthma, but they work sooo well for just about everything.
