When I was in korea I noticed most koreans don't quite grasp the concept of sarcasm -at least, not those that I met-, they always took everything I said dead serious (caused some pretty funny situations). I do think Seungri might be one of the few that gets it~ xD
I like this one most of all of your work so far. Not sure if it's because of the way it is written, or the fact that this little piece of plot appeals to me the most. It's bitter in the way Jiyong keeps pushing Seunghyun away right to the end, the only comfort found in the fact that it does, somewhere, affect him. But even that doesn't really 'solve' anything, or serves to make you feel better. I like that kind of realism, where at the end of the story... you're kind of in the same situation as in the beginning. You learn a lot, but you don't get anywhere with it... if that makes sense.
Also, it makes me want to smoke, which I'll be doing right now xD
Ahaha, thank you for this long comment ^^ I love long comments.
Chinese people don't always get sarcasm either! My Mum thinks I'm lying OTL. Sarcasm is like one of my favourite things so it can be frustrating! Did you go to Korea on holiday or an exchange programme or something?
I get what you mean! Where after all that's said an done, it's the same situation as the beginning.
Ahh, that's an unintended effect of this fic -.-' maknae reprimands you LOL. I don't know why I decided to write a few drabbles about smoking when I have no idea what it feels like.. gaah.. I'm glad this came off ok even though I have no first hand experience!
Taking people too serious runs in asian blood, I think xD
I went because I switched studies, had a year of working in between and that gave me the opportunity. It was for 5 weeks, just looking around and diving into the culture, lived with a host family (theyweresoawesomeomg ;_;) Fell in love. Def. going back as an exchange student in a few years!
Apologies to maknae! (I feel my smoking habit is nearing it's end though, it's still a lingering attchement to a smoking ex, but the bittersweet associations are slowly fading enough to reveal the actual disgustingness of it xD ...this sounds like a drabble in itself, haha)
Ahh, I was going to say, it sounds like you got to know them more than I would expect a tourist could :) I'm off to study in Hong Kong in September and I am really excited (I currently live in England hehe.)
That sounds like a brilliant drabble.. sounds sort of perfect GTOP, where Ji smokes because TOP smokes.. are you going to write this idea or would you /kill/ me if I stole it?
Hong Kong, awesome! I am pretty sure you will love it! Living abroad for a while is a major experience :)
Haha, I think it would be more interesting if it is one of the none-smokers. Like Seungri smoking because Jiyong is abroad for a while and he misses him, or maybe someone even more unexpected, like Youngbae xD ... And then Jiyong returns home early without notice and kills him when he finds out, hoho~ even though he's flattered.
Oh, no use it if you want! I have enough unfished drabbles as it is :B
I know, I think it's nice being a tourist an' all but it's so different when you live there.
Yes, Seungri hates it when Ji smokes but that doesn't stop him missing the smell of it when he's not around. Yeh, hypocrite Ji is awesome :D Eeek, I don't think I could write GDYB, would be a huge challenge. Who actually are your main ships?
Not only are you good at drabbles, you are brilliant at drabble prompts. I'm sure if we both do it we could pass it off as a remix LOL.
I want to challenge all pairings once, they all have their own interesting vibe~ Todae is my personal favourite, but I can not deny GTop's chemistry, they write so well :P
alright! I'll try the GDYB version of this plot then, let's compare afterwards xD
