The Workstation - Drawing doctor Who (and 11) Makes Me Happy
Ok, I'm Content Now. Promise.
I went off on one on the ranty earlier (well part of it was ranty. The other part was showcasing lotsa awesome items). But now I'm all happy and content because I'm drawing.
And fanart too.
AND I have food. and I am ALWAYS happy to have food. Always.
It's about 11.30 at night here. Mum's asleep, dad and grandad are off to the pub so the house is quiet (I can't wait til I get my own house I tell ya, and no uni doesn't count). I'm in bed drawing and eating lemon drizzle cake and drinking milk.
Good times.
Anyway, I thought i'd put up the 'workstation' :p
oho yes.
I'm attempting to draw Matt Smith to go along witha bunch of scary weeping angels -booyah.
but his face IMPOSSIBLE.
I mean, trying to draw him I noticed:
*he has this big cheekbones but a very square/rectangle face, which somehow doesn't work logically
*close together deep set eyes
*a funny shaped nose that's high-ish on his face
*lips I don't quite know how to even start to draw
* half-eyebrows. he somehow manages to have very defined brows, but tiny eyebrows that seem to only come across half his face
*and, of course, impossible hair.
Oh Matt my dear, you are a freak. But I love you for it.
If in doubt, stick a bowtie on him and everyone will know who he's supposed to be :p
which reminds me - I saw a girl when i was in work wearing a fez. a FEZ. for serious.
I very nearly screamed : "Fezes are cool!" at her.
But i don't think the staff are supposed to scare off the customers. lol
