If you've been keeping score, you know LJ has one last "Christmas villain" to introduce to her games. And believe you me, she's been looking forward to unleashing him upon your world

I had wondered if the creation of Life Force (with it containing so many Avengers) would cause issues and cause issues it did. Very well handled & great to see the two teams come together to work so well and Scarlet Witch well & truely cementing herself in the hero camp.
I'd often had issue with the fact The Avengers (& other heroes/teams) accept the word of people from the future at face value and it seemed like things were heading in that direction in this story but with Scalet Witch's intervention Carol was saved and the future was saved, from living under the heel of Kang, which was a nice surprise as well.
I liked how LJ linked Kang to Doom (or how Kang lied to Doom to get him on side, time will tell) and that Kang will be back to plague our heroes again.
Another great instalment I can't wait to see what story comes next, a Robin story perhaps... ;)
"Hasbro has decided to discontinue the Super Hero Squad line in favour of expanding the Super Hero Adventures brand." Darn you Hasbro, Darn you to Heck!!!!! *shakes fist at an uncaring sky*
Looks like Hasbro can make bad decisions about things beyond the unified TF canon, too ;)
LJ can't take the credit for the Kang/Doom link, my friend, as that's actual Marvel canon! Yup, surprised me as well. She found it in her Avengers character guide and was really pumped to be able to put it into play. I have to admit I really like the idea, and am looking forward to Doom having a capable, competent second-in-charge after so long enduring MODOK and Abomination (who will no doubt be unhappy about their demotions).
I think the blame for the Avengers' trust of time travelers comes down to the constraints of 22-page comic books (heh). The way LJ uses Scarlet Witch is pretty cool, I agree... she's become the metaphor for the "odd girl out" who works her way into the core group just by being herself. That's a little more palatable than the 616 version, methinks.
