She reminded him of his mother at that moment... unwilling to part with her own problems easily. Maybe he could coax her into it by talking about his? He had never liked watching his mother keep everything inside, but he'd known she had Ferid to talk to. This girl... he got the feeling she didn't have anyone. Opening up... was definitely hard. But... it might be worth it.

"I shall try, my lady."

Frey was silent then for a few moments, gazing at the retreating sun. When he spoke, he glanced at her, but it was easier to talk about it without looking at anyone.

"It's a long story... so I will try to summarize." He paused, taking a deep breath, then continued: "There was a coup after the Sacred Games... where my sister's future husband was chosen." It had begun before that, but it would just complicate his explanation to talk about it. "The Godwins... caused my parents to die. They took over the castle, and some of our knights betrayed us." He wouldn't name names, since Alenia was here and his mother trusted the woman. "I had to run... they kept Lymsleia hostage... ruled using her as a puppet Queen."

He glanced over to see her reaction before continuing. "I ended up leading a rebellion to free her... and my aunt, Sialeeds, seemed to betray us. It turned out she was helping us from the other side but I... only found out after... she was close to death." Because of him. "The only family I had left was Lym and my other aunt, Haswar... and a few others I only met recently but... I lost almost everyone, including my best friend. She survived... I still don't know how." It was amazing how much easier it was to talk once he got started. "I also... killed Gizel. He was my sister's husband. But he said something as he was dying... and I realized he had good intentions and..."

Frey trailed off, blinking back tears. "Then just after we won... I was here, and my mother was alive. ... and I remembered what the nobles always said about me... it seems in the end it was true."

[OOC- Have some TL;DR XD]

Jillia was easy to talk to, she always listened regardless of the problem at the moment. Moving on her hands and knees she moved closer as she noticed his eyes watering. While she wasn't a mother or someone he really knew, she knew how powerful a simple affectionate gesture could be.

By the time he managed to finish his store, she moved her arms around him so the embrace was quiet and he could choose to embrace her back, should he feel like it. If Frey didn't want to do anything, he didn't have to and Jillia would do what she could to comfort him. "It is alright, Lord Frey." Jillia tried to comfort him as she did her brother.

She was. Frey wasn't quite sure when she'd made her way close enough to touch him, but he was surprised into silence by the action. At first he was slightly stiff... but it only took a few moments for the silver haired prince to relax against her and embrace her back. It really was comforting... a simple gesture like that could say a thousand words.

Frey nodded slightly. "... thank you." He didn't even remember to tell her she didn't have to refer to him as a lord.

Jillia's gentle hand rubbed the back of his head, stroking the white braid settled there. "I know you are very sad, Lord Frey. While the feelings never go away completely, I assure you that you will probably feel much better sooner or later." She spoke softly, to comfort him as he seemed to need some sort of a support system. Jillia was very much used to that role by now,"It's okay to be sad."

The black haired girl mothered him in a way, trying to keep him from feeling like he was all alone when he wasn't.

For quite a few minutes, he didn't say anything... just nodded a bit and stayed where he was. It was a nice feeling, to be comforted like this, but at the same time he felt completely selfish. Frey pulled away though, to stare into her eyes somewhat curiously. His were red from being upset, but also seemed... less sad, somehow. He shifted a hand up to cup her face, hoping the gesture wasn't too much.

"You're right, Lady Jillia... and you have been more than kind to me. If you would like, you can tell me what makes you so sad as well."

Jilla felt him starting to pull away and she frowned, feeling she might not have been doing so great a job. She felt for him, his sadness was right there and she wanted to remedy it as she was usually the type of person who always listened. Watching his hand raise to her face and hold it gently, she nearly pulled away to keep her own emotions closed off.

When he said the words, her eyes subconsciously moved to the letters she wrote there. No, she had to be stronger than that,"Lord Frey...I...do not want to burden you with my problems. They are not nearly as great as yours are." As much as she wanted to pull away from Frey, she didn't.

"The size of the problem is relative to what you yourself have experienced." Pointed out the silver haired prince, just watching her with an unidentifiable emotion. He was always better at handling others problems then his own. The physical gesture was meant purely to be comforting, there was no ulterior motive behind it. "You have heard my problems, so surely... I can hear yours."

That said, the youth gave her a shy smile. He wasn't sure she would open up... but the hope that she would showed on his face. Frey kept his hand where it was, since she hadn't rejected it.

A prince, a real, wholesome prince had looked at her with a kind eye. She felt too overwhelmed with everything, she had never deserved such kindness without something she would need to give back. There had to be a hidden payment involved if he were to be so sweet, so soft with also caring about her.

Nobody cared about Jillia.

She set there looking at Frey, closing her eyes and thinking of talking but was unable. It'd been so long since someone touched her kindly, Seed didn't care, Luca was always gone. "I......I..." She lowered her head, the beautiful girl shaded her face with her ravenous hair. Even when offered, she could only hesitate releasing her tensions.

She couldn't always depend on a stranger to fix or cuddle her when she needed it. "Fre...y.." She shook her head.
