Yar on sugar cravings!>!>>!

I remember reading a book, by Janet Evanovich her latest Stephanie Bond novel to be precise -Eleven something- (its a good book, go read it the first one in the series is One for the Money) ,and in it the main character Stephanie Bond has been confronted about her tendency to deal with stress by eating sugar. She gets shot at . . . its dounut time, her attempt at getting a new job . . . 7 pieces of wedding cake, a sister who's driving her up a wall . . . cookies, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. So She and her mother make a deal, Stephanie will lay off the sugar, and her mother will lay off the bottle (she's developed a habit of neat little shots. . . or chugs out of the bottle depending on the situation.) Which is a great plan. No alcoholic mother, slightly less difficult to loose those 7 extra pounds from all the sugar, general healthiness abounds. The downside was really only a downside to her boyfriend, who discovered that without the large amounts of sugar she had to find another way to de-stress. Poor guy had to admit that he couldn't keep up with her, due to the increased libido that hadn't been sated by sugar and fried pastries. It's quite an amusing book, and no the sexual exploits of a woman sworn off sugar is not the main focus, Stephanie quiting the bounty hunter business is But it does make one think . . ..

Being on salary is nice, though it does come with the added responsibility of actually working and finding the things to work on to get the requisite 40hr/wk, instead of going home after a task has been finished. *sigh* I don't particularly like mailings.

Sad to admit, but I'm bored. But it's now 1715 so I can leave.
