Losing feeling in my foot. Always interesting, perhaps I should stop sitting on it. I've lost my voice mostly. So I sound really horrible on the phone. Coping with major doubts and second thoughts about my qualifications for work. I'll get over them soon. As soon as I get distracted actually. Decorated the wall of my room a bit more, and have been making plans for my mid-summer get away. I'm not planning on getting hurt and going hiking, and camping against medical orders to rest, so that should be something new. Got my new boots in. They're GOOD boots, so breaking them in is fun. :-)
Found out that had the company Yellowstone uses for employers started reviewing applications a few months earlier, I could have had at summer job up in Montana. Admittedly it was being a room attendant... but its MONTANA! (Entertained a few friends with that revelation and the subsequent overreactions and bemoaning the fate of slow hiring companies.) That was fun. Oh well. Timing worked out, and I'm here now. And won't be leaving for a while. Even mailed the cancellation notification today.
Want to run away for a while and be responsible, but I think I can hold of the impulse til Sunday. Hopefully that will be sufficiently free for me to be incognito for a day.
