Weather witicisms....

Ha ha...

Ok, so here's the deal. I don't often influence the weather for a number of reasons.
1, it is sometimes time consuming,
2, It sometimes impacts my immune system if I do it for too long and don't properly ground beforehand and take time to recharge afterward, and
3, I generally don't care what the weather does most of the time anyway and I generally think it should run its course without my input most of the time.

There are a few times, however, where I have a definite desire for a particular weather pattern, and today was one of those.

So, I had requested mostly sunny with some scattered clouds for the event that I was going to be at today... Someday... I promise that I'll learn to ask for a little more to extend it on each end...

I wake up this morning... 100% cloud cover and they were rain clouds too... So I'm figuring at this time that maybe my request wasn't clear enough, so I focused a little more on what I would like for the weather for our even today.

Sure enough, almost 1.5 hours later, all the rain clouds were gone, clear blue skies with some scattered clouds.

This held all day, a little cold in the morning, but warmed up by afternoon. That is until, 30 minutes before closing... not sure where they came from, but the rainclouds I saw from this morning were back again. 100% cloud cover, well, end of the day, I don't care too much at this point, the rest of the day was pretty good.

By closing time of the event, It started to sprinkle a little... while we were supposed to be packing up.

Ok, I realize that I'm only specifying during the event... I mean, do we have to be so literal? Got annoyed by a few drops, so I requested again for it to hold off on the raining for just a little while longer so that we can pack up and leave relatively dry.

About 15 to 20 minutes later it stops raining again. By the time we pack up and leave, it is back to mostly sunny with some scattered clouds again.

So basically... it just decided to sprinkle on me, but only at the very end of my event and not afterward.

-Cute... Someone is laughing at this cosmic joke... I'm sure.
