They are definitely referencing Wile E Coyote in Rascal, such as having the same blue prints to draw up his overly complex plans which require over the top machinery that will inevitably fail on him. I didn't show much of that in the scans though, and it's so obvious in the comic that I didn't really think beyond it, but I think you're right that he has at least some Daffy Duck in him. The more I think of it, the more sense it makes. And it makes sense if Jumpin' is a combo character that Rascal would be too.

"Especially the somewhat disconcerting facts of korean animation factories. (I think thats what that one page is addressing anyway?)"
That is correct. Mighty Pen Man studios who now handle all of the animation duties, and were mighty surprised by the angry cosplayers who crashed their work.

I think it really does address the concept of hatred a bit better than is generally done, though it could probably go further. SLIGHT SPOILERS - Rasacal hasn't let go of his hatred by the end, but like MCU!Hulk, he learns to control it and not let it consume him. I think it's part of why the end is a bit unsatisfactory to me, not because that's a bad ending (I actually really like it) but because you're left wondering "what's he going to do now?" I do kind of like that they leave the answer up to us though. I suppose the answer really is "whatever he wants" haha!

"One thing I am enjoying about the Scans is the Looming presence of Jumpin' in the form of old cartoons and Merchandise. It creates a sort of morbid ghostly effect giving the sensation that Rascal is "haunted"."
I hadn't even noticed that! But now that you point it out, I have a hard time believing it was unintentional! What a great point! And a wonderfully eerie motif for the creators.

Also? The song is epic, thank you for linking it to me!
