All-Ages Reviews - Super Dinosaur

Aug 24, 2012 10:07

It's a comic for kids called Super Dinosaur...
There's not really a lot I can say to add to that. Haha!

And yes, it's pretty much exactly what you're expecting )

all-ages, reviews, super dinosaur, superhero

Oh man, Devil Dinosaur! I know OF him and Moonboy, I've seen them referenced in other Marvel things, but I've never really read anything with them specifically. Sounds AWESOME though! Are there any collections you can recommend?

But yeah, you've pretty much pegged the main problem with it. There's really no reason this comic shouldn't be great, it's got all the elements, but that kid is so unlikable that it's just frustrating. I mean they could have kept it mostly as-is, but made him arrogant, or overly competitive, or stubborn - it wouldn't have made him more likable, but at least he'd have room for improvement then and I'd feel like he COULD become likable. (I mean, he kind of has those qualities, they just aren't treated as flaws.) Ugh. So much wasted potential.

Haha! Yay! I'm glad people like them! I just needed something fun and positive to talk about, but I'm glad they entertain! I love your rambling comments, I am excited for any I get (Including this one)!

Haha! It's funny you say that, because when I first went to the link you provided I thought "I wonder if I can get away with reviewing this even though it's online..." Largely because my comic collection, though strange and diverse, is limited, and good looking all-ages books don't pop up every week, sadly.

But yeah, there's a definite chance I may use Cowboy for a review. :D

Recommendations! Yes! I approve of this! It makes finding new things even easier!

Now I may have to buy Cowboy, though, if only because I love having print versions of things. But do I then read it online or wait for print form? DILEMMA!
Hm...I wonder if that means I can add another webcomic that I have in print for to the queue...I mean I've talked about it before, but I always look for reasons to talk about it again. *evil laugh* Oh, the doors this opens. Mwah ha ha haa! LOOK WHAT YOU'VE UNLEASHED!

...and why do I always end up using more caps when I get to discussing with you? I don't mean to gank your style, man!

Well, you seem to be doing well with your job so far!

You know, I had completely blanked out on the name GuriHiru and was like "wha...?" Then I went and checked my Avatar comics and was like "OH! Right!" Haha! I actually have those, and they're pretty awesome. (I love Toph's wonderfully terrible metal bending school in the post-show ones.) So there's an option. Looking at the style of these, too, I think I know what Power Pack comics you're talking about! They intruiged me when they were on the shelf, but I never gave them a shot. Now I may have to!
