GOOD LORD! The wedding I went to this past weekend just wiped me out. I am barely functioning this week. Ugh...that was just awful...though weirdly enough, the wedding itself was fine - kinda fun! I hate weddings, but I've always been pretty close to this cousin, and as my sister pointed out, I've never seen him so happy, so I'm really excited for him! It's just the trip that was miserable. We got back and I went to bed at 8:30...and fell asleep almost immediately. I don;t think I've ever gone to bed so early when I wasn't sick. Ugh...
Some other things, I got the Epic Mickey art book, which is less like a normal art book and more like a behind-the-scenes peek. I am okay with this, even though I already knew much of it from my obsessiveness. Still, learning about some of the stuff they cut...I mean, a boss fight against Oswald in a yeti-mech? DO WANT! (It apparently got cut for space, not for story reasons...sad.) but it's awesome and now I want to play the game again...
...I'm so easy...
Also, I really REALLY like the new Ultimate Spiderman. Seriously! It's been three issues and he hasn't done a lot of superheroing, which would normally be a complaint, but I'm kind of enjoying the progress in this case. This is the sort of thing Bendis was made to write, since he does characters and dialogue really well (and epic long stories not so much). It seems like a good buildup and I'm SUPER excited to see where it goes.
I'm sure i had more to ramble about...but I'm like super tired...so that's all for now.
