Every time i hear of a barrier going down a part of me goes cold. I never thought I would ever find myself such a serious person but even those around me in the workplace are beginning to notice. Every moment is riddled with worry. I stress each minute of every day.
I do my best to maintain my attitude as it was before this war began when outside of work, however, especially with Henry. He's the Kamui and seeing me so distressed about the situation will do little to help him make an unbiased decision, I think.
My visits have been much shorter recently, though. I think maybe I should begin staying longer again. Hm... who would have thought this would happen. When one has a one night stand it's meant to remain a one night stand. You're not supposed to stay around afterward, to visit daily for the sole purpose of spending time with one another. Usually if that happens it's called dating and your 'one night stand' turns into an unlikely relationship. I'm not sure what else I expected, however, my life is very bizarre, after all.
Regardless of whether it's common or 'normal' at all, it relaxes me.
Such a tangent! Look at me, thinking about a boy when a barrier has just fallen in Moscow! For SHAME, Althea! You'd think I was a school girl again.
Despite my tendency to tangent, I find myself distressed. The Angels seem to have the upper hand on the Angels all over the world. The next barrier attack here... the barrier mustn't go down. We have had more time to plan this time, to get more organized.
It's a shame that we can't take the offensive in this war. There's nothing we can really do but wait for attacks and hope that we're around and able to defend. There must be a better way. There must be.
Gippal's weapons will surely help. The heat sensors will be a blessing, I believe. I suppose it would be best if I informed my team of my purchase........ Maybe I should have consulted them first. Ah, well. Far too late now.

Hello, ladies.
I know it's been some time since we've spoken on here, but I have some interesting news.
Recently I made the acquaintance of a charming young man who creates, produces, and sells weapons. I.... got a little excited and took the liberty of ordering some things for us. You're, of course, not required to use them but they are ....well, to put it simply, they're pretty cool.
First off he's supplied us with special... guns. I can't quite remember what he called them but I remember that it included 'boom' so I suppose it doesn't matter.
They look much like your standard .45 but upon contact with their target the bullets actually explode.
Secondly he's given me something of ..... Wide range heat sensing technology of some sort. It can monitor the heat signatures in a wide area at all times. We would be able to monitor activity at all six of the remaining barriers. These won't do us much good during the day time but at night when there are mostly just security guards in the areas it will be most helpful.
He was working on some defensive weaponry for us as well but has yet to work out an operating design that we would be able to utilize without personal instruction.
