It explains why that guy's girlfriend couldn't join. When I asked though, he said it was all a nasty rumor. Although I'm not sure if I've guessed correctly about the community- it's not just a rumor. If he knows about it already, then surely he has a part in it, right? He must have powers too, I'm guessing.
He needs to suck it up and face it.
