Books and Writing on a Friday

My TBR pile of books is out of control. Seriously. I buy books faster than I can read them, and then I wind up having books sitting there for years. I have books I bought ten years ago and never read. That so can't be healthy. So I need to weed. I need to look at the ones that have been sitting there for longer than three years and ask myself

Helen Keller's The Story of My Life sat on my bookshelf for six years before I finally picked it up to read. I had every intention of reading it when I bought it, but at the time I just wasn't in the mood. Actually, I finished it a month or so ago, haha. But I weed through my books too, because there are just to many. Luckily I have a few used bookstores near me, so I love to drop them off.

And I'm looking forward to hearing how The Sleeping Beauty is. I have a few of the Five Hundred Kingdom books on a wishlist, and will get to them eventually.

Oh, The Sleeping Beauty was awesome! So, so good.

Yeah. I can get rid of CDs and DVDs without a problem, but books are hard to part with.
