Ah, warm weather, welcome back! Now I feel like I can accomplish things...
1) Doctor Who's back! Doctor Who's back! And I absolutely loved it.
Eleven looks like he's going to be a blast. He's goofy, he's lighter, and he's ready for adventure. Rock! Amy is a pretty interesting character. She's tough and rather awesome. What do you expect from a redhead named Amy (okay, Amelia, but Amy is a short form of the name). No, I'm not biased.
The story was a great introductory story with Prisoner Zero and the creepy searching eyes. I'm curious to know what laws Prisoner Zero broke. He must be a nasty one. But I liked how the Doctor, Amy, and her boyfriend (with the help of poor Jeff) stopped him and saved the world. Awesome!
My favorite line: "Get a girlfriend, Jeff."
This looks to be an awesome season, and I hope Amy's boyfriend (whose name I'm blanking on right now) will come back.
2) After spending a weekend at my parents' house and getting in touch with my angsty teen years, I've settled on a plot for my YA story. I'm rather excited about this because it settled into what I had already planned perfectly. I wrote notes yesterday and will be diving into the writing tonight (after homework, of course). Yay!
