Chapter two on the NOS has been started. It's a lot of info dumping right now, but man, I learned a whole lot about Anna and her world in that moment. Homestly, I don't know where all this world building and plotting came from. I couldn't do it before I started writing, and I tried.
I wanted to outline this one...to know what was going to happen before I put pen to paper. But it didn't work out that way. The more I tried to plot, plan, and outline, the more frustrated I got. So, I took my friends' advice and started writing. All of a sudden, I have a world, a background, and a basic plot.
I think I just have to accept the fact I'm a pantser who plans a little bit as she goes. And yes, I'll have to deal with having a lot of work to do in the revision process. I shouldn't be surprised; I've always been a weird one.
But at least the story is flowing and words are materializing on the page. I think as long as I don't worry about it too much, it'll be okay.
What do you think?
