A New Decade, A New Writing Goal
A new year is now upon us, and it's time to set up my goals for it. Last year, I didn't accomplish much in the way of writing. I wrote a few fics and have a few barely begun original stories. Nothing to really call an accomplishment. In fact, I sent most of my time worrying about my classes.
This year, it's time to take writing seriously. If I want to be published, I need to start acting like it. So I'm choosing one of my half-finished ideas from last summer - the one about the witch who is a drummer in a rock band - and I'm going to plot it out. My goal is to start the first draft this month and finish it by May. It won't be easy, with school and my family needing attention, but I'm going to accomplish it.
If you see me post, comment and ask me if I've written on that day. Keep reminding me and pushing me. Lord knows I'll need all the help I can get.
