Five Fannish Things You May Not Know About Me
1) I ship John/Kate in the Terminator universe. Ever since I saw T3 (which was last spring, for the record), I've been a hard core John/Kate shipper. I loved Kate from the moment she appeared on screen. She was tough, she was awesome, and she was a redhead. I very much look forward to seeing her in T4.
2) I adore HIMYM. Dragonhubby and I caught up on this series this past summer, and we're both horribly addicted. I so love this show and hope that Barney and Robyn do wind up together.
3) I started writing fic in a RPF fandom - the Backstreet Boys. I may have started reading fic with Highlander, but the Boys inspired me to write it. I was pretty darn prolific, too, with three long stories in that fandom. And I wrote every day during that time period.
4) Bones has won me over. Another series I'm catching up on with DVD since I have to work the night it comes on. Right now, DH and I are in the middle of the second season. I ship both Brennan/Booth and Angela/Hodgins. I could also go for some Zack/OFC if any exist.
5) Book fandoms are awesome. I may not talk about them much, or write fic for them, but there are several book series whose universes I would love to get lost in. Those books would be: Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld, Stephenie Meyer's The Host, Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files, Colleen Gleason's Gardella Vampire Chronicles, Rachel Caine's Morganville Vampires, Mercedes Lackey's Elemental Masters and Five Hundred Kingdoms, and, of course, Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern.
