With one day left to go, I don't think I'll be reaching 50,000 words. But that's okay. I might not have won NaNo, but I didn't fail either. I have 5,000 more words than I did during any other NaNo and a solid start to White Spirit. I learned who my characters are and what's happening in their world. I feel accomplished, actually.

No, I'm not stopping now November is over. I have a book to finish.

Actually, my buddy draickinphoenix suggested a book to help me with my lack of motivation. It's called The Novelist's Boot Camp by Todd Stone. I checked it out from the library and several of the drills are helping me. Definitely look into it if you have a motivation problem like me.

On the reading front, I finished Disappearing Nightly by Laura Resnick. Funny, funny book. Do check it out if you like urban fantasy that doesn't take itself too seriously.
