The State of the Me
Well, Irene has passed by my neck of the woods. We were lucky; she barely grazed us. But if you're in NC and on up north (and I know many of you are), please be careful. If they tell you to get out. Get out. Hurricanes are no laughing matter.
And now for some escapism...
I got my art assignment for the het_bigbang. I didn't realize it would come right when school started back, but I think I can pull this off.
Having streamlined all of season three and part of season four of Charmed, I see how awesome the Phoebe/Cole pairing was. They really messed up that ship, and the whole Coop thing in season eight just feels cheap compared to it. But I'm getting lots of ideas for my witchesbigbang fic. (And I'm getting the urge to write the fics I always wanted to but never did.)
Back to shows that haven't been canceled. Warehouse 13 continues to rock. Alphas is also getting more interesting. Still not happy with the Nina/Hicks thing they're pushing, but I won't rant and rave about it. I might fight back with Rachel/Hicks fic. Also, I want them to break free of the government and become they're own team. I think the government is playing them.
In other news, only three weeks until The Vampire Diaries comes back and The Secret Circle starts. So looking forward to that.
