I said goodbye to Kat today. There was a going-away party yesterday, and that was good, but it was pretty impersonal, so I was really glad I got to see her today and say goodbye

'Tis not good bye my friend, only see you later. Just think of it as her going on a big eventing weekend. She will come back full of stories and experiences to share. Our Kat is one tough cookie and as adaptable as her namesake. What you gotta remember the thing about Kats is, no matter how much they wander, they eventually find their way home.

*hugs* You'll be alright. Everyone will miss her-after all, who doesn't love Kateryn? But as Bess said, she will be back before you know it. Trust me, a year goes by way faster than you think. I've been there, done that, on the other side, and it's amazing how quickly the time will pass.

Plus, you can always feel free to beat up on me if you want. :) You and Andrea should come on down and visit with Cam and I some time. Bring Astrid and Alejandro, too. :) Hopefully I'll get to some events this summer so that we can hang out.

I was wondering where to find your journal well now I know! You guys never fail to instill me with the warm homefires kind of fuzzy. I particularly liked you calling Alejandro too much of a girl to fight with, that made me laugh and make all the people in this cafe look at me like I was crazy. I'm going to miss roughhousing with you and getting lost with you. You better look after yourself in my absence, I'll be pissed if you die from exposure.
