Diamondbacks! Scotty's team! They held the lead... 5-1, thru 4 innings. Looked like they were finally gonna do it.... (they've only won 2 games so far all Little League season!) then........ couple errors by the DBacks, and the other team caught up, and passed em. 6-5. 6th inning. Had the DBacks just held em, game over, Dbacks win. But no..... couple errors, & the team fell apart.
Well..... last ups for the Diamondbacks. Couple nice hits.... base hits, bases now loaded. Scotty's teammate comes up to bat..... swung & missed, ball, then OMG........ talk about that sweet sound of CONNECTION! Frikken homerun.... Grand Slam! 4 runs in...... final, 6-9. Diamondbacks 3rd win of the season.
Couldn't have happened to nicer kids! They've surely earned it! Poor guys... night after night of dissapointment.... and boy oh boy what a win!!!! =o)
