Goodbyes are such sweet sorrow
So, I just got home from a Smarty Pants show over at Lexis-Nexis. That was fun and all, but having an 8:15am call time BLOWS. It was good to be able to play with Dave one last time before he leaves, though. I wish him the best of luck up at the Second City in Detroit. Go him!
The last couple days have kind of just blown by. Lots of running around between Sinclair and church and Smarty Pants. Seriously.. that's been my last three days. Josiah and I swung by Dan's (church youth leader) house and played cards one night before crashing at my house (and watching Euro trip). Besides that, it's just been run RuN rUn RUN!
*breathes heavily* (panting, if you will. haha)
Whew. Okay, I'm alright. This is the first time I've been able to just sit down and chill in quite a while. I feel rather lazy, and I think I may go take a nap. Oh, on a very nice note, I got payed today for my Smarty Pants shows from June... $151. A REAL pay check! w00t! I'm glad to see that this is actually become a decent way to have tons of fun and make money. That amount should start steadily growing over the next few months as MUSE machine shows become a very real possibility (well, a reality, rather... I'm on the MUSE team. haha). So...things are really looking up there.
