All right, follow the dots...
So, a few friends of mine and I went to the Marin Fair on the 3rd, and we went to see the fireworks. They were amazing, by the by. It was awesome, cause the first half was to Star Wars, and then the second half to American pride stuff. There isn't much cooler than watching explosions to the music from the bar and to the Imperial March. *purrs*
All right, but here comes the fun part. One of the friends who went--a guy names Sylvan--leans over to me and makes a comment about how cool it would be to play a Solar Exalt who designs fireworks. This simple comment abruptly shunts my character creation thought process into overdrive.
I start with one character, it turns into a pair of workers, and then quickly becomes a Circle. *sigh* My head goes funny places sometimes.
So here's how it turns out:
Dawn Caste- the "bouncer" for lack of a better term at the gate and the financier. It's this one's responsibility to make sure the money all meets and all the required payments are done and gotten. Current status-unclaimed
Zenith Caste- the choreographer for the fireworks. This one picks out the music and decides the colors, times the explosions, etc. The Zenith also designs the fliers that go out at each town they pass through. He also functions as a second voice for the start up if there's a tough crowd. Current status- battle between Sylvan and Mike
Twilight Caste- of course, the constructor of the fireworks. This one gets to play with all the things that go BOOM! Needless to say, it was the Twilight that started the whole thing and got the others to kinda come a long for the ride. Current status- battle between Sylvan and Mike
Night Caste- Only the ninja can set up the firworks, since no one can see where they come from, right? That's this one's responsibility. Oh sure, the Night may loose a finger or two, but all in the name of entertainment, right? Current status- Fox's character
Eclipse Caste- Ah, the voice on the stage, the speaker before the fireworks begin. It's this one's job to talk up the performance and get the people ready. The Eclipse is also the one who goes out into the public and talks up the show to the people surrounding. Current status- my character (Yeah, yeah, I know. I can't stop playing Eclipse. It's terrible! I've tried to play something else, but it just doesn't work. Man, give me Demon and I can play any of the Houses, but pull out Exalted, and I'm stuck...)
So now all we need is one crazy person to play our Dawn Caste financier, and one REALLY excentric StoryTeller to actually run the game for us. *laugh* Now I just have to find one....
