Graduation post.

Graduated yesterday. T'was most fun.

We practiced only twice, which was kinda fun. Mr. Livingood wanted to get through the entire ceremony in less than an hour, we did it in 65 minutes. So, all in all, not bad. The ceremony itself was nice. I like things like that. Though, I tripped on the last step exiting the stage because someone's mom, I don't remember whose at the moment, was waving at me like crazy and I missed the step heh.

Afterwords, Mr. Christoph gave me a graduation gift, but we're gonna save that for the end, because nothing else in this post is as awesome is that.

Project Grad was awesome. I was one of the first in the doors, which was neat. Got to watch them blow up all the things. There was an obstacle course, a mechanical bull, a bouncy boxing game, and a Joust game. There were also a crap load of card tables set up, as well as cornhole, basketball, pingpong and Volleyball. I spent my time wandering around to the different things. I spent most of my time at card tables, where I found out that I am VERY good at 21(Blackjack), Craps and Roulette. We were given some fake money, with which to gamble with, or compete in the various activities for more. The money was to be used for an auction at the end. Everyone started with about 5,000. I ended up with 62,700. Though, one guy got REALLY lucky at the Roulette wheel and got over 200,000. I ended up scoring a 1 Gig JumpDrive. So, that makes 3 JumpDrives, 1 128Meg, 1 1Gig and 1 2 Gig heh. The Joust was really fun. Basically, you stood on a platform and had a huge 8' long Baton. You had to knock the other guy off. Towards the end of the night we played King of the Hill, where you stayed until you got knocked off. Doug got up, and stayed up, for a full 20 minutes. It was awesome, we were all trying to take him down. Like, the strong men of the class, the two football players who can bench over 300 lbs. He was knocking them off with ease. Though, I think it was more of a footing and balance thing, because I managed to knock him off once. Overall the whole night was quite enjoyable.

Now, before I close this, because I'm really tired.

Mr. Christoph stops me in the hallway, right after Graduation, and he's got a Circular Slide Rule and something that's wrapped in simple brown paper. It turns out that the Slide Rule is the same one that he used in college. It's a big one too, it's got more scales than what I've noticed on it yet heh. I haven't opened up the wrapping yet, but he told me what was in it. There's actually three things in it. One is the finished lesson on how to become a Millionaire, because I wasn't there to finish it. Second, is his notebook from when he went to UC. Thirdly he gave me his own personal Logarithm Tables. I don't think I've ever been given such a personal gift as this. He really did make my night with that. I'm just sad that he's leaving. But, I've got the memories.

Well, I'm going on about 3 hours of sleep in the past 30 hours, so, I'm gonna go and take another nap I think.

End.
