So...
After four phone calls to the hospital today, we still have no idea of what’s going on with Maddy’s wrist. In short, the specialist who reviewed her file late this afternoon admitted:
1. The x-ray isn’t normal.
2. He doesn’t know how this has occurred or what it is exactly.
3. Or whether it could be just the way Maddy’s wrist is formed (or deformed, as the case may well be).
In any case, he wants more x-rays, so this will be done on Tuesday (public hospitals just can’t rush these things you know).
As for Maddy, her pain levels are increasing by the day, particularly through the joint. All we can do is give her paracetamol and comfort *sigh* I know, obviously, that the joint will ache as it stiffens from non-use, but this seems to be something more.
Just to top my week off, my mother is coming to visit tomorrow *give me strength*
