Another storm hit us last night. It was nowhere near as bad as the past two or three, but it was still a little frightening, especially as there was lightning again. We unplugged everything, except the router so I could use my laptop to watch the front move across the coast. It actually hailed a couple of times!
We received Mitch’s TAFE report today (where he spends two days a week learning his trade). He passed everything with a level of ‘competent’, which is great :)
I still haven’t received Tori’s semester report, which is really starting to annoy me.
As it was extremely cold and wet today, we spent the day inside. I managed to polish
The Sting of Humiliation (the ficlet I wrote really quickly last night) and post it to FIA.
This afternoon I curled up in bed with a lot of glossy Twilight goodness, thanks to
rainpuddle13 *squeezy hugs*
Tomorrow we have senior football at home. It’s going to be cold and wet *pouts* This happens every year - the juniors get a bye and netball takes two weeks off, and we end up with our seniors at home… every year. Just one weekend off sport entirely, in the middle the season, would be nice *nods* It’s not a lot to ask, is it? A chance to recharge our batteries and ready ourselves to face the remainder of the season, including finals.
