While my computer is behaving...
Firstly, Belated Happy Birthday to mugglechump. I'm blaming the computer for my tardiness *nods* I hope it was a wonderful day for you *hugs*
I'm still having issues with my computer *grr* It seems to want to work properly every second day *rolls eyes* But I guess it's better than nothing until I get it fixed, which will hopefully be later this week!
New Year's Eve was good. We went to Mitch's best mate's house for a small party. All the people there were great and we've socialized with them before, always having a great time. And yes, I did drink a fair amount *eg*
I spoke to my girls the night before New Year's, and they're having fun at their aunt's house. Though Maddy sort of hung up on me, because the movie they wanted to see was starting.
I've been doing a bit of writing these past couple of days as well *g* It's been quite hard with the computer not wanting to cooperate and this particular chapter wanting to be typed, instead of handwritten (just my luck), but when I'm able to get to the keyboard it's been flowing at an amazing rate.
The weather is going to be absolutely dreadful over the next few days: humid and extremely hot *ick* This is thanks to the cyclone hovering off the coast. It's not expected to cross the coast at any point, but it's close enough to make our conditions yucky. I think I'll just hide somewhere dark and cold.
