alissomora recently had a "ABC challenge fic meme thingy" going and I gave her a prompt. The resulting fic, Of Babies And Harpies, is hilarious. You all must go and read! I insist

You call 15C a close call with Spring? We call that winter! I'd have the heaters going all day long and my winter coat would most definitely be still out ;)
A light jacket? Are you mad? I'd be freezing my bits off! It's odd what we become accustomed to *g* The coldest weather I've ever been in was about -3C and that was frosty *nods*
-3°? Hahahaha. That's usually standard temperature in January here. I remember a time when I was in the States when I easily froze in tights, a PJ bottom and jeans, two scarfes, a thick sweater and my winter coat. Oh, and gloves. Yes, I walked 45 mins to the library. My feet were frozen despite thights feet and wollen socks.
I had to. Otherwise, I would have stuck in the house 24/7 with the kids I was looking after and there was no car for me to drive around. I just couldn't bear that anymore. So I walked. I did that quite often after I did it the first time in that icy weather. In March, it was a pleasure to walk because it was nice and sunny and warm but in January, it was horrible.
Ah so I'm not the only one who thinks you had a momentary lapse in brain function *giggles* But I do understand the need to escape gets very great at times ;)
I wonder how the weather is with us.
The sky is blue but that can mean anything.

Our sky has come over all cloudy again, so I guess we might get a bit more rain overnight *yay*

I think I want some snow. It is about bloody time for it.

You don't snow either? What is wrong with the world? *shakes head*

But last week, we had some close calls to spring time. Something around 15°C. I thought I can pack away my winter coat.

When we have 15° I can easily turn off heating and walk around in a light jacket.
