Follow up after the ambulance/hospital incident

Jul 13, 2007 23:28

Right now, I am feeling fine, but not fully recovered. I am planning to just rest and enjoy this weekend with my mom, sister, her friend, my friend, and our friend couples. We're going to Busch Gardens on Sunday (and don't worry, I can handle heat during theme parks since there are places close by to stay cool). Being hot in a theme park is very different than being hot in the middle of the woods. I may not be online much during this weekend due to being with family and friends from Fort Myers.

I know that I am prone to overheat/get hot/sweaty quickly and I've always prefer cool over warm places. The event yesterday was an open eye to my classmates, teachers, and perhaps some other people who had seen me in that condition. I am just thankful that I had a heat stroke with "minor" symptoms and not the severe ones.

I am not going through that again!  I have been planning on my career/life to be somewhere where it's not so hot or work indoors with AC. Even before this incident, I've always seen myself working indoors and all my classmates and teachers know that I mentioned this to them. It's just yesterday was a shocking thing to everyone, so I am sure that everyone will take into consideration and not bring me outdoors during hot/humid weather.

Thank you all who are concern about me and thank you for all your comforts and concerns. I wish I can see a doctor sooner, but the earliest is possibly Monday. Monday is to schedule to see a doctor or if I can just walk-in. I just need to get a general physical check up and have medical records in case I have to present them to my future work/career position.

I'm still thanking God that I made it out with no permanent damages (as far as I know and feel). Again, don't worry. I am concern about my body and I don't want to be in an another similar situation again. I'm hoping to see a doctor on Monday or sometime next week. In the meantime, I'm just gonna rest and get my body healed up.
